Do you enjoy putting together a
costume? Do you enjoy dressing up? Have you ever tried to dance in a
costume? Well, here at Chico Diamond Dancers you can do just that.
Every month Chico Diamond Dancers has a
themed workshop. These themes could be Hawaiian, dress up in your
favorite color, Cowboys and Indians, or anything you can think of.
This months theme is Carnival/Circus.
Each one of our themed workshops is
different. Sometimes we vote on our favorite costume. Other times, we
figure out a little puzzle and write down our answers. Who knows what
it will be. However, there is one person that knows what it is. The riddle to be figured out this coming Monday at our
workshop is:
Ahh...life under the big top. Where
the popcorn's always popping, the clowns are always clowning, and the
crowds are always crowding. Sounds just like our group, doesn't it?
But that's not all that's going into the Chico Diamond Dancers'
Workshop Theme this month – the carnival gamesters also get their
chance at 'gaming' by playing the “Dancing Big Top Game”.
By showing up in your Circus/Carnival
garb, you win a preferentially-allotted game-piece. Should your
corresponding game-piece be drawn, you and two others get the chance
of choosing which Big Top's contents you'll receive. :)! ...What
will it be? Will you win lions and tigers and bears, oh my?? Let's
